Ten Features Makes Quran University Unique
9 - Best Design for Function (for studying Quran)
Designing Quran University Mobile Apps
A unique design showing a single page of the Quran. Simultaneously showing operation study tools on the lower ribbon together with the content of Quranic library. In addition to an upper ribbon allowing movement between pages & containing control panel & help tools.
The Mobile App has one main zone & two ribbons
The central Zone which has a single Quran page, in which we use Quran images rather than text in order to maintain the look & feel of the printed version of Quran, with the purpose of empowering the visual memory of the student so that the images would imprint in his/her memory as it is in (Medina-Othmani script).
We have invented a way for selecting Quran Verses using image-based selection rather than text-based selection, allowing for student to highlight several verses together to define it as the scope of his/her study by simply dragging his/her fingertip on mobile screen.
At the lower part of the page of Quran, we added a ribbon that has a primary menu containing operation play tools, & a link to secondary menu from 2 buttons (Tilawa button) & (Teacher button).
- First secondary menu stemming from Tilawa button has the following tools;
- Recitation & Memorization Tools:
Listen & Repeat Tools Hide & Show Tool & Tajweed Tools; Record & Compare Tool.
- Understanding Tools
Tools or the Quranic Library Tool. Which opens window with several tabs Tafseer, meaning of the words, Translation to more than 60 languages, Causes of Revelation, etc…
- Second secondary menu stemming from Teacher button has the following tools
- Assignment Tools:
